Yes. Axis Luxury Living is directly across the pedestrian skybridge from UVU, so getting to campus on foot is easy. The walk is about 1.1 miles, or roughly 25 minutes.

Axis is about 1.8 miles from UVU’s V parking lot, roughly a 5-minute drive or a 10-minute bike ride. Getting to campus is easy whether you drive, bike, or walk.

Axis is a short walk from Orem Central Station. From there you can catch UTA bus routes, UVX service between Orem and Provo, and FrontRunner trains that run throughout the Wasatch Front.

There are plenty of places to eat near Axis, which is located at 1435 W 800 S in Orem. Fresko is right at Axis and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Other nearby favorites include Asado Argentinian Grill and Cafe for grilled meats, burgers, and sandwiches; Pizzeria Seven Twelve for wood-fired pizza and Italian dishes; and Yummy’s Korean BBQ & Sushi for Korean barbecue and sushi. The many restaurants along State Street and University Parkway are also just a short drive away.

Axis is close to several grocery options in Orem. One of the closest is Walmart Supercenter on Sandhill Road, which carries groceries, household essentials, toiletries, school supplies, and more. Smith’s, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts Farmers Market, and WinCo Foods are also nearby. For quick snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials, Axis has its own on-site convenience store.

Axis has several security features to help residents feel safe and comfortable at home. The property is monitored by security cameras with motion sensors, and security personnel are on site every night. Residents use key fobs to get in, and the parking areas are well lit.

Absolutely. Axis is built with UVU student life in mind. Resident events, roommate matching, and shared spaces like lounges, a clubhouse, game rooms, sports courts, and study areas make it easy to meet neighbors and make friends. Because Axis is so close to UVU, it’s also easy to get to classes, clubs, and campus events.

Axis Luxury Living offers 1×1, 3×3, and 4×4 floor plans. Every layout has private bedrooms and private bathrooms, and all apartments come fully furnished with an in-unit washer and dryer. You can see the full layouts on our floor plans page.

Yes. All of Axis’s 1×1, 3×3, and 4×4 floor plans have 100% private bedrooms and private bathrooms. Every resident gets their own bedroom and bathroom, and the 3×3 and 4×4 layouts also have shared living spaces.

Yes. Axis offers individual leases by the bed, so each resident is responsible only for their own lease and rent.

Both. The 1×1 floor plans are priced per apartment. The 3×3 and 4×4 floor plans are priced per person, so you pay only for your own private bedroom and bathroom. Visit our floor plans page to see pricing for each layout.

Rates depend on the floor plan, the room’s location, availability, and any leasing specials. For the latest pricing and availability, check our floor plans page before you apply.

Axis offers lease terms from one to three semesters, depending on availability. Contact the leasing office for lease dates and the term options that are open.

Axis charges a $100 administrative fee and a $300 security deposit when you lease. Your first rent installment and the required deposit must be paid before you can get your keys. Monthly charges for utilities, technology, trash collection, renters’ insurance, credit reporting, parking, and other services you choose may also apply.

Utilities aren’t included in base rent. Axis charges a flat $80 monthly utility fee and a $6 monthly trash collection fee.

High-speed internet is available throughout Axis but isn’t included in base rent. A $20 monthly technology/communications fee covers services like Wi-Fi and cable. Residents are responsible for setting up and maintaining their apartment’s router.

If you pay monthly, rent is due on the 1st of each month. You can also pay your rent in full at move-in. Monthly payments are late after the 1st and come with a $75 late fee. A $20 fee applies to any returned payment. You can pay rent through the resident portal.

Axis offers more than 50 community and apartment amenities designed around student life. Highlights include:

• A 24-hour fitness center, a yoga and dance studio, and a cycle-cinema room
• Zen and meditation rooms
• A resort-style swimming pool and dual-level hot tubs
• A theater room, a VR room, and a PC gaming room
• A clubhouse, lounge areas, a BBQ area, and outdoor recreation courts
• Study areas, music rooms with pianos, a recording studio, and an art room
• High-speed internet, covered parking, elevators, and on-site management and maintenance

Every apartment at Axis has its own in-unit washer and dryer, so you can do laundry without leaving home.

Yes. Axis has dedicated study areas with workspaces, high-speed internet, outlets, and comfortable seating. When you need a quieter spot to focus, relax, or recharge, you can also use the zen and meditation rooms.

Yes. Axis hosts resident events throughout the year so residents can meet each other and enjoy the community. Past events have included dance parties, poolside gatherings, food truck nights, and BBQs. Upcoming events are shared through Axis communications and the resident portal.

Yes. Axis offers both covered and uncovered assigned parking. Parking isn’t included with every lease. Depending on the parking type and availability, it costs $60 or $40 per month, or is free. Residents get a parking permit and must park in the area or stall assigned to that permit.

Yes. Visitors can park in the unmarked stalls near the pool and sports court. Stalls outlined in white are assigned to residents and shouldn’t be used by guests. Guests should always follow posted signs and any parking instructions from Axis.

Yes. Axis has a bike rack in the center of the property. We recommend using a high-quality lock for your bike.

Axis is a pet-free community. Documented service animals and qualifying assistance animals may be accommodated in line with applicable requirements. Animal violations may lead to fees, which depend on the situation. Contact the leasing office to learn about documentation and approval requirements.

You’re welcome to personalize and decorate the inside of your apartment to make it feel like home. Damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged at move-out, and the amount depends on the damage. Required cleaning fees may also apply, depending on the condition of the apartment. Put up and take down decorations carefully.

Yes. Axis charges a $50 application fee, which you pay when you apply.

To apply, you’ll need your full name, email address, date of birth, and Social Security number.

The application and approval process takes less than ten minutes, so you can secure your spot quickly.

Yes. Axis runs both credit and background checks. Applicants should have no felony convictions, no prior evictions, and a reasonable credit history.

Yes. Students without a credit history will need a guarantor or co-signer. Paying a larger security deposit is also an option.

Yes. All residents at Axis are required to have renters’ insurance. It’s billed as a $15 monthly fee.

The main move-in date is August 14, but Axis offers flexible move-in, so you can move in at any time of year based on availability. Contact the leasing office to choose the date that works for you.

If you need to cancel before moving in, you’ll need to sell your contract to someone who will take over the lease. A lease transfer fee of 85% of one month’s rent applies. If you’d rather sublet your space, there’s a $200 sublet fee. The leasing office can walk you through either option.

Yes. Every Axis apartment comes fully furnished:

• Bedrooms: a Twin XL pillow-top bed, two chests of drawers, and a desk
• Living rooms: a sectional sofa, a sofa chair, a coffee table, an entertainment stand, and a wall-mounted TV
• Kitchen and dining area: four bar stools

Because Axis apartments come fully furnished, you only need to bring your personal essentials. We recommend packing Twin XL bedding and pillows, towels and toiletries, a shower curtain, kitchen essentials, laundry supplies, hangers, décor, school supplies, and anything else that will make your apartment feel like home.

Yes. Roommate matching is available in the 3×3 and 4×4 floor plans. If you already know who you’d like to live with, contact the leasing team with your roommate request. You can also ask to add a roommate later if space is available.

Depending on the carrier and the size of the package, packages are delivered to the mail room, to the Amazon locker, or to your front door.

Submit maintenance requests through the resident portal. Axis’s on-site maintenance team takes care of maintenance needs throughout the community.
